CCRI commissioned to initiate the Central Coast Joint Strategic Needs Assessment

The CCRI are excited to initiate the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) to improve the understanding of the needs of the Central Coast population, in partnership with Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC PHN), and Rebbeck.

The JSNA will build on existing knowledge about the region’s population health needs and health services. The JSNA will further explore the region’s non-health needs arising from the wider social determinants of health. The JSNA will also provide a deeper understanding of the region’s system partnerships.

The JSNA will allow the CCLHD, HNECC PHN and CCRI to understand the characteristics of the Central Coast population at a local level and define a set of health neighbourhoods. This understanding will inform the planning and implementation of future place-based services and interventions on the Central Coast.
