CCRI makes an impact at 3rd Asia Pacific Conference on Integrated Care
From 13-15 November 2023, the CCRI was one of several host organisations from IFIC Australia that convened the 3rd Asia Pacific Conference on Integrated Care (APIC3) at the Wesley Centre in Sydney.
With some 280 oral and poster presentations, and over 500 delegates in attendance from across Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions, this was a true celebration of research and innovation in integrated care and how it can and does contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of people and populations.
The CCRI would like to acknowledge the work of IFIC Australia and DC Conferences in enabling this event to happen, with special thanks to our research partners at the University of Sydney-based NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence on Health and Social Care Integration (CREHSCI) for the financial support to make it happen and the University of Newcastle for sponsoring the event with an exhibition stand.
We would especially like to celebrate the ‘best paper’ award that went to Dr Karen Hutchinson – our CCRI Affiliate and CCLHD Honorary Conjoint Fellow – for her work at the Australian Institute for Health Innovation, Macquarie University on the RuralKidsGPS Paediatric Care Coordination Program.
