Mental Health, Trauma & Family Safety

Mental health, trauma, domestic and family violence, alcohol and other drug use, and social conditions often intersect in people’s lives and in the services that support them.

Kevin (Gavi) Duncan: Timber poles which represent land, water, universe, people, kinship and learning. Gosford Waterfront.

This theme focuses on research and innovation that supports mental health and wellbeing, trauma-informed care, family safety, culturally safe care, child and family safety, service access, carer and family inclusion, and more connected responses to complex needs.
The theme brings together health services, community organisations, researchers, primary care, Aboriginal organisations, government, and people with lived and living experience.
We welcome conversations with partners working to improve mental health, safety, care and support for people and families across the Central Coast.
