What we do

CCRI helps research and innovation activity take shape on the Central Coast. We connect people, support early project development, build relationships across sectors and create clearer pathways from ideas to collaboration, funding and delivery.
We work with researchers, clinicians, community organisations, industry, government and funders to identify shared priorities and develop ideas that respond to local needs. We also help make Central Coast research and innovation more visible, so the region is recognised for the work already happening here and the opportunities still to be developed.
The Central Coast Health and Wellbeing Living Lab is a key part of how we work. It provides co-design and community engagement capability, helping projects involve community members, service providers and other partners earlier and more meaningfully, where appropriate.
